Here are Rishard's stops, he'd love to see you!
Happening tomorrow!
Rishard will walk from Rugby to Coventry to raise awareness about health barriers for people with a learning disability. These health barriers mean people with a learning disability are dying nearly 20 years earlier than everyone else, often of illnesses that can be treated or prevented. If this shocks you, join us at the finish line to welcome Rishard at the Canal Basin 4:30pm.

Say hello to Bev and Herbie from our Help and Connect team 👋

Help and Connect helps autistic people and people with learning disabilities uncover their talents and passions to create natural networks of community support 🙌
If you, or someone you know could benefit from this kind of help and connection you can get in touch with us by:
📧emailing us on [email protected]

We look forward to speaking to you soon!
HELLO 👋 from Grapevine's Herbie and Bev—pictured here at a recent Community Information Session in Cheylesmore, .
Hosted by Penderels Trust, the May event offered a great opportunity for citizens to come and meet different organisations helping local people like them build better lives.
Alongside us and Penderels Trust were other charities and organisations including Carers Trust Heart of England, Age UK, Coventry Citizens Advice and Coventry City Council.
Bev and Herbie are members of our Help and Connect team—Grapevine's longest running project in the city helping autistic people and people with learning disabilities uncover their talents and passions to create natural networks of community support.
Networks that strengthen, bring opportunity and help them take charge of their lives—where previously many were on the verge of coping.
Help and Connect helps people get out of crisis to make a plan for their lives, solve their problems, have more people to turn to, make friends, stay healthy and safe, get and keep a job, and have a better life 💪
Could you or someone you know benefit from this kind of help and connection? Please get in touch.

This is a free drop-in event hosted by Grapevine and Central England Law Centre in the first floor foyer of the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry to help local people affected by the government's proposed changes to disability benefits.
Our staff from 10am to 1pm will be on hand to support people to respond to the national consultation.
Please use this form to let us know a bit about you and that you're coming to join us ✍️ https://forms.gle/3zMsznPAkG9iwv7o7
It is very important to respond to the national consultation so that the government knows what disabled people and their friends and family think about these changes.
Please share this event with anyone you know who could be affected. The government consultation closes on 30 June.
Visit our event page for more reminders and updates 📆 https://fb.me/e/35ZnusBcX
