At Circle Marine, we are proud to support businesses and individuals across the sector with specialist marine insurance and risk advice tailored to the realities of life on and around the water.

As the World Cup gets underway, we would like to wish Scotland the very best of luck as they begin their campaign this weekend.
It marks Scotland’s first appearance at the World Cup since 1998, and there is plenty excitement across the country ahead of kick-off.
Our Glasgow branch will certainly be supporting from afar.
Good luck, Scotland 💙

We need to talk about "fairness" in the workplace.
The England Men’s team reaches back-to-back Euros finals? We go to work.
The Lionesses actually win the Euros and bring football home? We go to work. (Maybe with slightly sore heads and sunglasses indoors, but still...)
Meanwhile, Scotland qualifies for the World Cup and suddenly the country gets an actual Bank Holiday.
So while our Glasgow colleagues are putting their feet up, enjoying a Monday off, and replaying the qualifying goals for the hundredth time, the rest of us will be doing what we always do: opening laptops, attending meetings, and pretending to enjoy spreadsheets.
Are we jealous? Not at all. 😉
Congratulations, Scotland. Enjoy the day off, you've earned it.
Just don't expect us to cover your emails.

Yesterday, Circle Heritage had the privilege of attending a special service at St Paul's Cathedral celebrating an incredible milestone for Benefact Group £250 million donated to good causes since 2014.
The event brought together people and organisations whose lives and communities have been positively impacted through charitable giving, with inspiring stories shared throughout the day from beneficiaries and partner organisations.
As specialists working with heritage organisations, charities and places of cultural significance across the UK, it was particularly fitting to celebrate the role that charitable support plays in protecting communities, preserving heritage and helping important organisations continue their work for future generations.
Congratulations to everyone at Benefact Group on this remarkable achievement and thank you for the positive impact you continue to make across the UK and beyond.

Construction businesses are facing a more complex insurance landscape than ever.
Material costs, contract requirements and liability exposure are all shifting.
We are seeing more cases where:
• Contract terms push risk back onto contractors
• Claims take longer due to supply chain delays
• Cover limits are no longer sufficient
This is where sector-specific advice makes a difference. A generic policy is rarely enough.
If you operate in construction and have not reviewed your cover recently, now is the time.

What does it actually mean to work with a Chartered Insurance Broker?
It is not just a title. It is a commitment to higher standards, professional qualifications and ongoing development.
For clients, it means:
• Advice you can trust
• Accountability at every stage
• A broker that is held to recognised industry standards
In a market where many firms are part of large groups, this level of professional independence matters.
If you are reviewing your current broker, it is worth asking whether they meet the same standard.
