cornwall_in_focus Just a man with a cam exploring the wonders of Cornwall

A few pics from Helston’s lantern parade last night and what a turn out it was, loads of people there to both watch and to participate and it always looks so amazing reflecting off the lake as they go around 🤩

It got a little rough down Porthleven last night as made its way through, to be honest compared to other storms we’ve had in Porthleven this was pretty tame but always nice to watch the waves crashing over 🌊

I never get bored of this view 🤩

I drive by Lands end airport several times a week but never manage to time it right for when one of the planes come in to land so this time I got lucky as I went by and had to stop for a minute to watch it come in. To make it even better it happened to be at sunset just to make the pics that little more special! 😁🌅🛩️

Well I hope those of you that had the snow today enjoyed it, unfortunately Helston didn’t get any so my snowman is lacking a little 😂⛄️🌨️

So nice to see a bit of sunshine this weekend after so much rain but I hope you all made the most of it as we now brace ourselves for a freezing cold week ahead! As beautiful as the snow is let’s hope we don’t see too much white stuff over coming weeks but it’s not looking great, the weather models are currently predicting a lot of snow around for the following week so we will see how things go 🤞🏻❄️

WHO DO YOU THINK DID THE BEST LIGHTS? Well the festive period is nearly finished and all the lights will soon be switch off until next year. These are some of my favourites from my local area but I’m sure there’s loads more towns and villages across Cornwall that did an amazing job as well.
