🏆 MEMBERS OF THE SUMMER MONTHS; JUNE, JULY & AUGUST! 🏆
We’ve had some cracking winners over the last few months, so it’s time to give them the recognition they deserve! 👏
💪 AUGUST — BRIAN MCWILLIAMS
At 81 years young, Brian is possibly our oldest and definitely one of our happiest members! Three sessions every week without fail, putting in the work and enjoying every second of it. He may throw the odd insult at the coaches… but we’ll let him away with it! 😂 An absolute legend of the Performance Lab community.
Three very different members, but all showing what we love, consistency, hard work, positivity and enjoying the process.
Congratulations Jim, Corie & Brian! 🏆👏
🔥 JULY — CORIE HARKNESS
What a push towards the wedding! Corie trained her socks off, kept her nutrition on point and still managed to enjoy FIVE hen parties! 🥂 She even squeezed in those early morning sessions when its not her usual cup of tea. Hard work, consistency and finding the balance, absolutely deserved! 👏
🌟 JUNE — JIM EASTWOOD
Jim is one of those members who makes the gym a better place. Always walking through the doors with a smile, working hard and making everyone feel welcome. Friendly, chatty and always up for a bit of craic, exactly the kind of energy we love at The Performance Lab! 💪

🔥 THE LONG HAUL | THAT’S A WRAP 🔥
A couple of days on and hopefully everyone’s starting to feel slightly more human again..
Saturday was some day at The Performance Lab as we took on The Long Haul in support of the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust.
12 hours.
4 disciplines.
150km.
A lot of tired legs.
🚴 20km Bike
🚣 10km Row
🎿 10km Ski
🏃 10km Run
Every hour, on the hour, for 12 hours.
A huge congratulations to Adrian and Gerard, who completed all 12 hours. 150km between the four disciplines is some effort and we’re sure they’ve enjoyed the last couple of days of recovery!
A special shout out to Mark McCann, who completed 6 hours, and Neal Ruddock & David Graham who completed 4 hours. Serious graft from both of you.
And of course, a massive thank you to everyone who took part throughout the day. Every hour was packed with people getting involved, pushing themselves and supporting the challenge. The atmosphere around the gym all day made the event what it was.
The best part is that we’ve now raised over £3,500 for the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust. 🙌
The final total will be confirmed over the next few days, but to everyone who donated, took part, supported, shared the fundraiser or simply came down on the day, thank you.
It was a brilliant day and we’re delighted with how it went.
If you’d still like to donate, the GoFundMe is still open through the link.

Worried you’re not fit enough to get started?
You’re not the only one.
We hear it all the time “I haven’t exercised in years… is this really for me?”
The answer is yes.
You don’t need to be fit, strong or experienced.
You just need to take the first step.
Our coaches will meet you where you’re at, adapt sessions to your ability and help you build confidence along the way.
No judgement. No pressure. No trying to keep up with everyone else.
Just proper coaching, a supportive environment and sessions designed to help you make progress.
If you’ve been waiting until you feel “fit enough” to start…
Don’t wait.
Drop us a message and let’s see if our 6 Week Longevity Programme is right for you.
“I came for the training... but I stayed for the people.” 💙
For Adrian, the benefits of training go far beyond getting stronger.
After 18 months at The Performance Lab, his back and knees feel great, he’s built friendships that keep him coming back, and he plans to stay for as long as he can.
That’s what we’re all about, helping people move better, feel better, and become part of a community that supports each other every step of the way.
Thinking about joining? Come and see why so many of our members never want to leave.

BRING A FRIEND WEEK
Monday 10th – Saturday 15th August
Got someone who’s been saying…
“I’ll start soon”
“I’m too busy right now”
“I’m too sore”
“I’m not fit enough”
This is their chance 👇
For one week only, anyone can come and experience The Performance Lab for FREE by joining a friend for one session.
Whether it’s your partner, a family member, a workmate, or a friend who’s been thinking about getting back into training, we’ll make it easy for them to get started.
Available across all programmes:
SGPT & LAB60
They don’t need gym experience. They don’t need to be fit. They don’t need to be pain free.
We’ll meet them where they’re at and guide them through the session from start to finish.
If you’re already a member, invite someone along.
If you’re not a member but know someone who trains with us, ask them to bring you.
DM us “FRIEND” with the session you’d like to attend and we’ll get you booked in.

Friday Night Lights ⚡🍕🍻
What a brilliant atmosphere at The Lab this evening.
A real highlight was having some of our LAB60 members join Friday Night Lights for the first time and seeing everyone train together, chat, laugh, and enjoy the evening as one.
This is what it’s all about.
Good training, good food, and good people.
Thanks to everyone who came along and made it such a great evening.
Roll on the next one 🙌
“Your health is your wealth.” 💙
For Mark, training is about more than just fitness, it’s about setting a positive example for his children and investing in his future.
He loves the friendly atmosphere at The Performance Lab and finds it inspiring to train alongside so many members who are committed to looking after their health at every stage of life.
Because when parents prioritise their own health, everybody benefits.
Strong parents. Strong families. Stronger lives.
