Frinton House was praised for its person-centred culture, where people are empowered to live meaningful, fulfilling lives and are supported to achieve goals that matter to them.

The report highlighted how people were "consistently happy, smiling and wanting to engage", with the home's ethos focused on seeing the person, not the disability.

From supporting someone to take their first holiday abroad to helping a person who had been non-verbal for most of their life learn new words, the team continues to go above and beyond to improve quality of life every day! 🙌

🌊☀️ Takes on Skegness! ☀️🌊

What a fantastic day out for the teams from Sternhill Paddock and Charnwood House!

From friendly bowling competitions and arcade games to exploring Skegness Market, enjoying delicious fish and chips on the seafront, and treating themselves to ice creams, there was something for everyone to enjoy!

A huge thank you goes to the dedicated teams who worked so hard to plan and deliver this memorable trip. Their commitment and enthusiasm helped make the day a great success and created wonderful memories for everyone involved.

We can't wait to see where the next adventure takes ! 🏖️🎳🍦🎉

🖼️☕✨ Girls' Day Out in London! ✨☕🖼️

The ladies from 48 The Grove enjoyed a fantastic day out in Central London, making memories and soaking up the sights together!

Mary-Anne, Faiza and Rifat travelled into the capital by train and tube, taking in some of London's iconic landmarks before spending time exploring the wonderful National Gallery.

The day also included a relaxing café stop for refreshments and a delicious lunch featuring a tasty biryani, making it the perfect way to kick-start the weekend!

With good vibes, great company and lots of laughter along the way, it was another successful trip and a day thoroughly enjoyed by everyone involved!

Well done to all who helped make this special day happen! 💜🌟

One piece of litter at a time, Frinton House are making a difference in their community 💚

Taking to the streets of Bexhill, colleagues and people we support spent a sunny day volunteering; collecting litter and helping tidy their local area to give back to the community around them. ♻️☀️

Creating meaningful social impact, we’re incredibly proud of the team for not only helping to keep their community clean, but also for working towards our shared goal at Consensus of reaching 4,000 volunteering hours as part of our ‘One Step at a Time’ sustainability campaign.

Every bag collected, every street cleaned, and every hour volunteered helps us take another step towards creating positive change together. Well done to everyone at Frinton House - we can’t wait to share more inspiring stories as we continue working towards our goal! 🌍✨

It was a pleasure to welcome Jackie and Myles from the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association UK to Fletton Avenue 🧡

The visit provided an opportunity to showcase the service and the person-centred support we provide. Jackie and Myles met with the dedicated support team, along with Craig, Ben and Owen, who shared their own experiences of living at the service and spoke about what is important to them!

Discussions focused on sharing good practice, food security measures, and the challenges and successes involved in delivering high-quality support for people with Prader-Willi Syndrome.
Team Fletton were also pleased to discuss plans to expand the service with the addition of an extra bedroom, enabling us to support more people in the future! 🎉

Last week, an individual we support and support workers from across our services took on an incredible challenge – climbing the O2 in London alongside their support staff and fellow members of the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association UK

Charles from Royal Gardens, along with Gift and Kelly from Haydock House, proudly completed the climb, showing determination, courage and a fantastic sense of achievement throughout the day.

The event was organised by the PWSA, and participants also raised money through donations to support the association's valuable work. It was a memorable experience for everyone involved, and they should all be incredibly proud of what they accomplished.
