Classic Wheel Resto

Strange request to find but not to restore a Formula shallow dish wheel for a 60’s coachbuilt car. It had to look like it had been on there 50 + years. Sourced this one which fitted the bill and the new owner is very happy!

Just taken a special commission to repair a Splitty steering wheel. I don’t normally do them as cracks across the spokes are common and the fine ribs are a nightmare to restore. Luckily, this one has wear but the spokes are ok, just some cracks on the hub.

Late 50’s semi batwing is now heading off to a new owner across the pond

50’s semi batwing, restored and in its correct silver beige colour.

I’m three quarters through finishing a semi batwing wheel, soon to be finished in the correct beige grey.

Thought I would have a play with an old cracked horn push to see if I could get it looking a bit better. Worked on half of it, not perfect but looks a lot better😊
