FULL TIME | Bala 21–21 Chester Women

A valuable pre-season run-out for the Chester Women last night as they battled to a 21–21 draw away at Bala.

It was a hard-fought contest throughout, with little to separate the two sides and the result genuinely capable of going either way. The weather held up, making for an enjoyable evening of rugby.

A special mention to Leah and Ffion, who made their debut for the squad.

Thank you to Bala for the competitive game and for the excellent hospitality.

The Women’s squad now turn their attention to their next pre-season fixture, with Manchester visiting Chester on 20 September.
