When The Doctor Visited The Toy Table

Time and space collided at a recent comic-con event when The Doctor and K-9 stopped by TheToyTable Complete with scarf, hat and sonic screwdriver, this cosplay looked like it stepped straight out of classic Doctor Who.

What made it even more special was getting to see the K-9 prop up close — complete with a panel signed by a whole list of Doctor Who legends! A real piece of sci-fi history and a brilliant part of the community spirit that makes these events so memorable.

Cowabunga! The Turtles Hit The Toy Table

Things got totally tubular when one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles dropped by our stand! Donatello came ready for action — checking out our figures, games and collectibles with that classic hero-in-a-half-shell attitude.

Moments like this are what make the toy fairs and Comic-Cons so much fun — fans, collectors and cosplayers all coming together to celebrate the characters we grew up with.

The Day an Alien Invaded The Toy Table

You never quite know who’s going to turn up at a comic-con… but we didn’t expect this! A Xenomorph dropped by our stand looking every bit as menacing as on the big screen — and even posed with our own Aliens Xenomorph soft toy.

The craftsmanship on this cosplay was seriously impressive, from the headpiece detail to the movement. That’s the kind of passion that makes UK Comic-Cons so much fun — fans bringing their favourite universes to life right in front of you.

When Planet of the Apes Came to Berkhamsted

We spotted this incredible duo (and their baby chimp) at one of our recent comic-cons — the attention to detail was outstanding. After a chat with the apes, I learned that their cosplay costumes were custom made in the USA to fit them perfectly, and that everywhere they go, the baby chimp always draws a huge amount of attention. It was fascinating hearing about their experiences and the dedication behind their costumes.
