SAVE THE DATE: Chelsea in Bloom is back 🌸
🗓️ 18–24 May 2026
💐 Free to explore
📍 Sloane Square, Pavilion Road, Duke Of York Square & Kings Road
This is your sign to tag your bestie and get a date in for a beautiful, girlie day out in one of London’s most blooming lovely parts of the city.
This year, Chelsea in Bloom is going all in on an “Out of This World” theme. 👽🚀🪐 We’ve been promised a mix of astrology, mythology and slightly surreal, space-inspired floral displays dotted around the neighbourhood. 🛸🧚🐉
It runs alongside Chelsea Flower Show, but you don’t need tickets for this, you can just wander. 🗺️ And if you do a good old fashioned Google you’ll be sure to find a spotters guide closer to the time.
📥 My top tips:
• Go early or on a weekday if you can, it gets busy
• It’s very walkable, so no need to over-plan, but we always get off at Sloane Square
• Worth bringing your camera, but it doesn’t feel forced
• Wear comfortable shoes!
• Book somewhere for lunch, we love The Ivy Chelsea, or go to Peter Jones for an understated quieter spot.
• Don’t miss Chelsea Registry Office. It’s always covered in confetti which makes for a fun photo.
Who’s planning on a visit this year?
Well, cheers to me then! 🥂👍🤷🏼♀️
He meant retail therapy right? 🤔🛍️🪴
What can I say, when it comes to self care I know what I need!
Can’t help it, this gal loves a garden centre 🤷🏼♀️
The secret to happiness 🌱🌸💐Martha said it best.
Start small, start with a pot, watch as soon you’re waking up at 6am to see how your plant babies are doing and covering them up at night to protect them from frost.
Learning as I go here and loving it! Where are my fellow small gardeners at? 👋
Remember saying you’d never turn into your mum. And now you get excited about changing your bedsheets, putting on a box set and being in bed by 9pm. Wild times! 🫣😂😬
Where are my fellow millennials mums at? 👋 Have you increased the font size on your screen yet? I’m holding off… won’t be long! 😂
This is what it feels like to spend a normal day in the school holidays.
“But you’re always doing so much with them” is one of the most common things other mums say to me… I’m pretty sure they don’t mean this. 🤔 🤷🏼♀️
The supermarket shop, breaking up fights, dealing with “I’m bored”, constant snack and meal requests, endless washing and washing up… I love our days out, and yes, we do a lot of them, but we also have our fair dose of not doing very much.
I’ve always said I’m more present as a mum out of the house, but more and more we’re all craving these simple “chilled” days and I’m totally leaning in 💙☀️✨
Just a little reminder as you scroll my page that my doing a lot is doing a lot of this too!
I’m an ’84 baby. The millennial prototype.
Raised on Sunny D, Pop Tarts & Pringles. Tammy Girl, glittery gel pens, Pepsi Chart Show, blow up chairs, mini butterfly clips, Sugar, Bliss and Just Seventeen.
You used to record the charts so you had something to listen to Monday - Saturday, you wrote a Diary and knew which Spice Girl you were in your friendship group – and which Impulse scent was your fave.
Friday nights were for FRIENDS, Saturday mornings for SMTV and you sneakily watched SATC in your teens.
We met outside HMV every Saturday afternoon, Pizza Hut buffet was our bottomless brunch and Tammy Girl try on sessions was our Instagram.
No one accessorised like us.
If you remember any of this, you are my people.
