STAR Walks

As some of you know, I'm heading back out to run the half marathon for Hope Rescue this year. I don't think I need to explain how awesome they are again, as Mika is a walking example of the fabulous work they do. This is me and my mammy. My mammy is feeling a little sorry for herself as she's in bed with covid. She's meant to be training for the half marathon to raise money to help other doggos at the rescue that saved me when I was a poorly bean. Just a heads up for everyone, we have some very hot weather for the rest of the week. All walks are being adjusted to accommodate everyone - this may mean adjusting times, shortening walks or switching to pop in visits. Any major changes I'll be in touch about individually, but don't be surprised if I show up a little earlier than usual 😊

It's already very hot today. All walks have been brought forward or switched to home visits today. Stay cool everyone 💜

Looking ahead at the weather this week, hot weather protocols will be in place all week. Walks will go ahead where possible but may be shortened or adjusted where needed (any huge changes and I'll be in touch individually). We'll be keeping to shady areas and plenty of water will be available at all times. Where needed, walks will be switched to pop in and play visits to ensure everyone's comfort and safety. 😎🌞🐺
