🚨Youth Arts Festival is Back! 🚨
Young Artists Festival is a week-long artist development programme for young people aged 18+

Each year we bring together around 40 actors, writers, director and stage managers for an intense, week-long festival, where we support and guide them to create a series of short play for public performance.

YAF is returning for the first time since 2022.
📆YAF 2026 will take place between March 30th - April 4th.

📆Deadline to apply is by 9th of January 2026 at midday.

💵The fee to participate is £120 per person to take part in the festival. This includes:
🌟5 Industry masterclasses (at least!)
🌟1 Creative masterclass
🌟4 performance opportunities

Subsidised and free spaces are available for those who could not afford it otherwise.
What’s more - the box office takings for the 4 shows are split between all participants, given them a true feel of life working in ‘fringe’ theatre.

Mae’r Ŵyl yn dychwelyd am y tro cyntaf ers 2022.
📆Bydd Gŵyl 2026 yn cael ei chynnal rhwng 30 Mawrth a 4 Ebrill.
📆Y dyddiad cau i ymgeisio yw erbyn 9 Ionawr 2026 am hanner dydd.

They have created their own play inspired by their lived experiences called Two Sides of a Struggle. You will be able to see this 30 minute short play on 26 September at 5.30pm at the same location as An Orange in the Subway 🍊

It’s free to watch but tickets must be booked in advance.

An Orange in the Subway

Unfortunately due to a Weather forecast of heavy rain and possible thunder we have made the decision for the safety of performers, staff and our audiences to cancel today’s 2.30pm show only.

An email has been sent out to all bookers. We have automatically transferred tickets to tonight’s show at 7.30pm. If you are unable to attend that show, we have sent you an email on how you can exchange or refund tickets for the 2.30pm show.

The 7.30pm show tonight will go ahead currently. Sunshine is on its way folks but not this afternoon.
