Happy Birthday Hungry Penguin! Today marks one year since we opened our doors, and what a journey it's been. We're so grateful for the support of our customers, and can't wait for another year at the Hungry Penguin 😄

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....

Hi everyone. Just wanted to let you all know that the last day the Hungry Penguin will be open is the 23rd of December (next tuesday), and we will then be closed until the 5th of January.

Hope you've all had a fantastic year! I know I have. It's been a true pleasure to serve you all this year, and I'm really looking forward to doing it all again next year (maybe with a few new menu items? We'll see...)

Hi everyone, just wanted to say thanks to all our customers for a really busy week. I've been rushed off my feet trying to keep up with your appetite for spuds and sarnies.

Also, a lot of you have been complimenting our little Penguin mascot (pictured here enjoying a brekkie roll and a packet of crisps), but so far I haven't thought of a name for it. Perhaps you have an idea for what we should call it? Let us know in the comments!

Look who's back! We've brought our log burner back to the patio to keep everyone warm as the days get chillier. Come and grab a jacket potato and warm yourself by the fire with a hot chocolate 😋 ☕️ 🥔

Good morning everyone! This is a quick update to say that the Hungry Penguin will be temporarily closing between 14/08 and 19/08. Sorry to let you know at the last minute, we tried every available option to keep the van open during this time. I'll be around all day today, and will be reopening Wednesday next week.

Also, this is Judy. She's feeling much better after her visit to (and a Cumberland sausage)
