What an incredible achievement for our BMX club!

Our club continues to go from strength to strength. We've grown from just 16 club riders in 2024 at a regional home race to an amazing 53 riders today!
This growth is a testament to the dedication, enthusiasm, and support of everyone involved. A huge congratulations to all of our riders for being part of this fantastic journey and helping to create such a positive, welcoming, and thriving club environment.

A special thank you also goes to all of our volunteers. Your time, commitment, and hard work behind the scenes make everything possible.

34 days to go till National !!!

Shout out for Volunteers:

Sign up here: https://forms.gle/rTJs8y4XvgJNWChw8

This July, the South West will host its first National BMX event in more than 14 years as we welcome riders from across the UK and beyond to Cardiff to compete against the very best in their age categories. We are also proud to host the National Championships on the Friday evening, where the country’s top riders will battle for the title of National Champion and the honour of wearing the Union Jack sleeve for the year ahead.

Our aim is to deliver more than just a race weekend, we want to create a truly memorable event. We want to create an atmosphere second to none. We want to showcase our fantastic facility. We want visitors to leave talking more about what Rocked, rather than what Sucked!!

To make that happen, we are calling on not only our dedicated Cardiff volunteers, but also anyone across the South West BMX community who would like to be part of something special for the region. With the support of our amazing South West Committee, we want to build a “Green Army” of volunteers to help bring the event to life.

We’re not asking you to commit to the entire weekend, far from it. Even volunteering for a two-hour shift would make a huge difference and be greatly appreciated. British Cycling manages the racing itself, so most volunteer roles do not require any prior knowledge of race operations.

If you’re able to help, please complete the form below by June 5th and we will be in touch nearer to the time with roles and timings.

Thank you in advance, Diolch yn fawr!
