An opportunity has arisen for a qualified and GDC registered Dental Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team here at Rumney Hill Dental Surgery.

We are a mixed NHS/Private family practice, and we are looking for a highly motivated, hard‑working nurse who delivers excellent patient care while maintaining high clinical standards and following all cross‑infection protocols.

Full or Part Time considered

Rumney Hill Dental Surgery are looking to recruit for the full-time post of Trainee Dental Nurse. We are a well-established mixed NHS/Private practice in Cardiff. We would like to hear from you if you:

• Have the ability to work well with others as part of a team
• Have the patience and ability to remain calm in stressful situations
• Are sensitive and understanding
• Caring and have good communication skills
• Have the motivation and determination to complete a structured training programme outside working hours.
• Possess a minimum of 5 GCSE level or equivalent qualifications, to include English, Mathematics and a Science.

Successful candidates will be working alongside dentists and a hygienist in a busy clinical environment as well as participating in a theory-based training programme, which will be delivered by Tooth Fairies.

This full-time post will equip the successful candidate with the knowledge, training and practical experience required to obtain your Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing. Gaining this recognised qualification and entering onto the professional register with the General Dental Council are the first steps on the career pathway within the Dental Nursing care profession.

As self-directed study is a major component of the training programme, it is essential that candidates possess a high level of commitment and willingness to study.
A flexible and adaptable approach to work pattern is essential.
