About Dr Raid Ali

Hi I’m Raid, a General Dentist practicing in the Cardiff and Newport area. Please read on for a little background on me; I studied my BDS in Baghdad, Iraq before graduating in 1996. Early in 2000 I immigrated to the UK where I completed the (IQE) international qualifying exam in 2006. Following this in 2010 I completed MFDS RCS from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and very recently I was awarded a post graduate diploma in dental studies from the Cardiff University.

I’m happily married with 3 young children and have a keen interest in sports with a love for Cardiff City FC, so much so that I’m the proud owner of the season ticket and try not to miss a game.

One of my other passions is trying to help the less fortunate. I’ve now completed a handful of marathons to raise money for charity and also had the honour of being able to offer support and dental care to migrants and refugees in Calais in October 2016.

Whilst I work as a General Dentist I have a specialist interest in Dental Implants and Invisalign treatments. I practice in the various Restore Dental Groups locations, meaning I’m easily accessible from across the Cardiff and Newport area.
