Based in a real life working catering kitchen, you will experience a ‘taster’ of 3 different experiences over a 3 hour period. Emma Jenkins will demonstrate how to prepare and cook a delicious supper, as well as giving helpful hints and tips along the way. You’ll be able to tuck in and enjoy Emma’s cooking at the end of your session. Susan Wood is passionate about flowers and creates fabulous seas

October = Harvest time - treading the grapes & anticipating the new vintage.

The Taster Co is myself ( ej ) collaborating this autumn with Amanda from Bay tree Wines and Sue From Twigs to bring you a fun filled day of cookery, wine tasting and flower arranging. Its up close and personal, plenty of time for questions and to join in. In makes a great present or a group day. The Taster Company offers a fantastic experience for corporate clients looking for something different with three imaginative experiences in one package.
So what's the format?
Based in a professional working kitchen in Cardiff, you will be split into three groups that will rotate around three stations.
The aim of The Taster Company is to be informal yet interactive, for the participants to feel relaxed and included and have the opportunity to interact and ask questions.
The Cooking Station - Professional chef, Emma Jenkins, will prepare a delicious supper dish, demonstrating handy culinary hints and tips and passing on new skills along the way. You will tuck in and taste her appetizing cooking as she nourishes your mind, body and soul!
The Flower Station - Expert florist, Susan Wood, inspires confidence and creativity. Using seasonal flowers and foliage, Susan shows you how to create a wonderful display at home, maybe a beautiful hand tied posy, a garland of flowers for someone special or a chic table display.
The Wine Station - Local wine merchant, Amanda Kynaston, will be delighted to talk you through the tasting of 4 wines based on a selected theme - this station could take you from comparing old world and new world wines to looking at different styles of the same grape. Whatever the chosen theme, you will be sure to enjoy tasting and learning about these delicious wines in a comfortable and friendly environment.
