Sparks in the Park Cardiff

This is Wales' biggest and best annual fireworks event, held behind Cardiff Castle organised by Card All we recommend is that you wrap up warm!

Cardiff's Cooper's Field will be host to the annual Sparks in the Park firework display, the largest regular annual fireworks event in Wales and one of the largest in the UK. There will be an amazing display of pyrotechnics, a beast of a bonfire as well as funfair rides, live entertainment from Capital FM, food stalls and many other family attractions. Event timings:

Fireworks set off at 7:00pm (display lasts approx 30 minutes). The event is organised by Cardiff Round Table, who have been running this annual spectacular since 1981. Cardiff Round Table work in partnership with Cardiff Council to ensure that this is a both a fun and safe event.We than go on to donate the proceeds to worthy causes, mostly local but also national and international. All tickets are non-refundable. The ticket will be considered void if the ticket type (shown in the circle on the front of the ticket) is altered, defaced, or has more than one letter in the box. Cardiff Round Table reserve the right to refuse admission or to remove any individuals who behave in a drunk or disorderly manner. No sparklers, fireworks or alcohol may be brought into the event. Cardiff Round Table reserve the right to search bags. Cardiff Round Table reserve the right to adjust the event timings, postpone the event and/or adjust the event as necessary to comply with Health and Safety advice from Cardiff Council or our specialist contractors. Updates will be posted on our website, facebook and twitter feeds. All times remain approximate and may be subject to change. Family Tickets admit 2 adults and up to 3 children. Our child rate applies to all children aged 3-15. We do not charge for under 3's. However, we do advise that, due to the loud noise level of firework displays, Sparks in the Park may not be appropriate for babies and young children, who can often have very sensitive hearing. No dogs are allowed on the field except guide dogs.

A massive thank you to Adam Khan and WE TOW UK for saving Santa and getting him back on the road! Without him, we would have had to cancel the Ely Sleigh runs this year! Thank you ever so much and Merry Christmas!

Hi PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WE CHANGED OUR PENYLAN & ROATH RUN TO THURSDAY 11TH DECEMBER. Meaning the run WILL NOT TAKE PLACE TODAY FRIDAY 12TH DECEMBER. We're very sorry for any and all confusion caused. The change was due to volunteer availability.

Thank you to everyone who came outlast night to see Santa around Radyr, Danescourt and Fariwater. We're very sorry about the delays last night. Traffic around Cardiff was very heavy and Santa got stuck in this causing timing issues.

Our Story

Cardiff Round Table presents Wales' Largest Firework Display.

This Years Sparks In The Park, takes place in Blackweir Fields, Bute Park, Cardiff on Saturday 3rd November 2018.

Event opens at 4:30pm.

Junior Display is scheduled for 5:45pm.

Main Display is scheduled for 7pm.

Our annual Event caters for 15,000 to view one of the UKs largest Firework displays, accompanied by Live Presenters from HeartFM, full Fun Fair, Food & Drinks concessions and a carnival atmosphere.

TWO Music themed Displays will be taking place again this year; a childrens Firework Display (with noise sensitive effects) from 5pm and Wales' Largest Firework Display set to entertain from 7pm onwards.

An Annual Event NOT to be missed.

ALL proceeds raised from the Event will be distributed to Charity, arranged by Cardiff Round Table.
