OK, first let me start by saying RUNNING A BUSINESS IS HARD! It's not for the faint of heart. Buy that's OK, you're doing it anyway because you're a badass 💪
You've got a million things to think about all the time: service, staffing, payroll, taxes, insurance, profits, marketing, repairs, employee wellbeing, branding etc, etc. Getting your socials right is just another thing on your ever-growing to-do list ☑️
If you're not hiring somebody to take this off your hands, for whatever reason, it's down to you to make consistent and engaging content. Accounts that are inactive won't show up in as many recommended feeds, so you could miss out on that amazing organic growth 😭😭
Make life a bit easier for yourself:
☑️Use a content scheduling tool to automatically post for you, so you don't have to remember to jump online at the opportune moment.
☑️Create your content in advance so you're not scrambling to get your message out there (no more misspelled posts going out at 2am)
🚨HAVE A STRATEGY- giving careful thought to what, how and when you post means clear engaging content, on the reg that you can track, analyse and evolve.
☑️Do some research. What engages you on social media? Where is your audience hanging out? What are they looking at? knowing your audience is key to getting your socials seen👀

🚨Top Tip Alert🚨 Reel talk
“I’m posting reels but I’m not getting much out of them”
Meta’s guidelines on posting reels give you an idea of how to ensure they’re clear to get traction outside of your following (recommended reels). The big one, after the content itself, is making sure your quality is great and there aren’t any watermarks (ahem… TikTok!!!😉).
You can use so many different programmes nowadays to edit videos, and it may take a while to find which one is right for you, but just remember: 📣📣Meta WANTS you to use the Reels function to edit! 📣📣
Even partially editing (adding music or speach-to-text) in the app can give you the edge with the Meta algorithms.
Side note on algorithms: they aren’t there to hurt or help you. You just need to play the game to be seen-more on this later.
