The Caerphilly RFC Annual General Meeting takes place on Friday 11 September at 7pm in the Players Bar.

A proper look back at the season just gone and a look ahead at what comes next, with the bar open. If you care about where this club goes, this is the room to be in.

Nothing we could write about the clubhouse would land as well as this did.

The refurb finished a while back now and the thing we keep hearing is that people didn't expect it. They come for a game, or they come because someone dragged them along, and then they end up staying for a few hours because it turns out to be a proper comfortable place to sit.

Live rugby through the season, a good spread of sport on the screens, and a bar that doesn't feel like an afterthought.

Open to everyone, not just members.

To the players who have been grafting through preseason, the volunteers who keep the place running, the sponsors who back us and everyone who turns up week after week, thank you. A club is only ever the people in it.
