From today (Sunday 5 April 2026), we've made some changes to services across the West of England.

We’ve introduced several new services and many services now have revised timetables to improve punctuality across the network.

Please note, today and tomorrow we're running adjusted timetables for Easter weekend - details can be found on our website.

Bristol Bus Station closed today and tomorrow ⚠️

Whitson Street at the exit of Bristol Bus Station will be closed from 09.30 on Monday 30th March and will remain closed until 18.00 on Tuesday 31st March. This means that buses cannot access the Bus Station, and alternative arrangements will be in place.

Hop on this Easter with free bus travel for under 16s.

Kids can travel for free on most local buses in the West of England area from 3 to 19 April. No booking, no fuss, and no need to be accompanied by a fare paying adult. Under 16s can simply hop on and travel for free.

The scheme is funded by the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority and aims to make it easier and more affordable for young people to get around during the Easter holidays.

The award-winning festival is lighting up the city until Sunday 28 February 2026, so you've only got a few more days to get out and see the amazing installations!

From Sunday 5 April 2026, we are making some changes to services across the West of England.

We’re introducing several new services, including the A2 (Portishead to Bristol Airport) and Service 18, providing new direct links to Southmead Hospital.

East Bristol will have improved reliability and new links, including to Keynsham and Temple Meads Station. Service 42 will be doubled to run every half an hour.

Many services will have revised timetables to improve punctuality across the network.

Due to a closure on the M5, there is extremely heavy traffic in Bristol City Centre and surrounding areas.

✨Ready to ring in the New Year? ✨

We'll be running our usual services into the evening, including night buses. In Bristol, services 2, 4, 5, 6, 43 (to Cadbury Heath), 73 and 74 will be operating their usual Friday overnight trips.

Just a reminder, there will be no services running tomorrow on New Year's Day after 4am.
