We absolutely love supporting our community so we're offering our services out again this year. If you're running an event, a club or group that you think would benefit from a little creative fun, reach out via email or DM/PM we have shed loads of ideas and resources all ready to go!

Although we're still working over Christmas helping to deliver some holiday club fun in Henbury we're going to take a little break from our socials. A bit of healthy work/life balancing. We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas

Solomon threw himself into every opportunity GAP offered, which is how we ended up here in the first place.
We're eternally grateful to Grassroot Communities and their GAP project for the hugely positive impact you had on our lives. Not only did you open our eyes to opportunities, and open doors to them but you showed us how to create our own and ones for others too and how to make the most of every one that comes our way.

Yearlong GAP 22/23 - Solomon Showreel

Our Catherine's journey with Grassroot Communities GAP project. We honestly cannot rave enough about the huge positive impact GAP had on our lives and how opportunities like this should be available to all young people, in fact to anyone who needs a helping hand on their journey. Catherine says 'The biggest thing I've learned is the power of yes. When an opportunity comes your way say yes, jump in, engage and you'll be surprised where it takes you. Yes led to me running a community organisation making a difference, Yes led me to an incredible expedition in the Canadian wilderness. Yes led me to working with some of the cities most amazing youth and community groups. Yes led to me making lifelong friends and amazing memories. Say yes to opportunity, say yes to you!'

We love Brook Tate for a thousand reasons. Chiefly Multicolour maths showcases what every scrap of research has ever shown but gets ignored by the powers that be - creativity is not just about painting or making noise, it's engaging people in learning in an entirely new way. Not everyone flourishes in traditional formal sit down education, in fact most don't and that knowledge seldom sticks. But lessons learned through play and creativity from core memories with strong pathways for navigating all aspects of life. Play and Creativity should be the foundations that all education is built sround!
