After a long period without an increase, rising costs mean that this year’s adjustment is necessary to help us continue investing in our pitches, facilities, equipment, coaching, safeguarding and, most importantly, our players.

We are aware of the police appeal relating to an incident that occurred at Brecon RFC during this year’s Brecon Jazz Fringe.

The club has cooperated fully with the police from the outset and has provided all available CCTV footage and assistance requested.

The incident involved a very small number of individuals during one of the busiest evenings of the festival, when a large amount of people visited the club and enjoyed the event safely and responsibly.

As this remains a police matter, it would not be appropriate for the club to comment further on the circumstances. We would, however, encourage anyone who witnessed the incident and may be able to assist the police with their enquiries to make contact with them directly.

Brecon RFC looks forward to continuing to welcome members, visitors and guests to the club and thanks everyone who supported us throughout this year’s Jazz Festival.

APPEAL | We are appealing for witnesses following an alleged assault in Brecon Rugby Club, between 11pm and 11:30pm on Saturday, August 8.

A man described as being approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a white T-shirt and denim blue jeans, is alleged to have assaulted the male victim, who sustained non life-threatening injuries.

Anyone with information that could help officers with their investigation is asked to report it to Dyfed-Powys Police in one of the following ways:

This Saturday's Pre-Season friendly against Penallta RFC has a new kick-off time AND a new location - the game will now be played at Merthyr RFC's ground, with a kick off time of 5.00pm.

This week's draw results are in - no-one won the jackpot, so next week the jackpot will be £5000.00
And no-one won the Second Prize this week either.

Our Youth Team has been training alongside the Senior Rugby Programme, gaining valuable experience, developing their skills, and learning what it takes to compete at the next levels.
