Started using Freelancer projects to get back into the swing of doing some identity design. Here's my first attempt, which has taken a few hours, of the following brief:

"The logo/letterhead should be a black and white vector based image of an owl flying towards the viewer. The owl should be facing front on, and have its wings fully outstretched. One leg of the owl should be slightly lower than the other, and that leg should be carrying an orb in its claw (the orb represents the sun)."

I'm going to be posting a few of these over the next few days. I'm going back over the work I've done in the past and this is part of a series of videos made for the Poole Literary Festival in October 2010. The animation has been made from a story dictated by a three-year-old as part of an "Early Years Showcase" at the festival. Enjoy!
