New Training Block
Starts Monday

3 strength sessions a week. One goal: get stronger and build muscle.

This training block combines Olympic lifting, strength work, and functional fitness to develop well-rounded athleticism.

We’ll be focusing on improving the Sn**ch, Clean & Jerk, Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift while using accessory work to build muscle, improve movement quality, and reduce weaknesses.

Strength isn’t just about lifting heavier weights—it’s about becoming a more capable athlete both inside and outside the gym.

On the first Saturday of every month, we take on our 90-minute team workout.

These sessions blend functional fitness, strength, and endurance to challenge both body and mind.

The result? Members who feel confident taking on everything from half marathons and HYROX events to obstacle races and endurance challenges.

More importantly, they teach pacing, teamwork, resilience, and how to keep moving when things get tough.

Testing Week starts next week.

These weeks aren’t about passing or failing—they’re about measuring progress, resetting benchmarks, and identifying opportunities to improve.

As training cycles change, it’s normal for certain areas of fitness to improve while others take a temporary back seat. That’s part of the process.

Testing gives us the chance to see how far we’ve come, where we’re getting stronger, and whether we’ve maintained key performance markers throughout the phase.

Trust the process, give it your best effort, and let’s see what the last block of training has achieved.

What to expect at the Bournemouth 7s Fitness Games 👊

We’ve designed 5 workouts that will challenge every part of your fitness — from endurance and strength to bodyweight capacity and teamwork. Across the day, your team will be pushed, tested, and forced to work together under fatigue while exposing both strengths and areas to improve.

We’re also excited to have Grenade supporting the weekend, helping fuel athletes throughout Saturday while also providing prizes across the event.

On Sunday, even if you’re not competing, you’ll have the chance to get involved by trying different styles of training or working with our coaches on specific areas including weightlifting, gymnastics, cardio, and conditioning — or simply jump in for a great workout atmosphere.

Recovery between events is covered by Hyperice, with compression boots, massage guns, and recovery tools available throughout the day to help athletes stay fresh between workouts.

All scoring, heat times, and schedules will run through Circle21, and team captains should now have received the link to register their teammates.
