Castle Lane Decorating

Well should I get this page up and running again, it's been an awfully long time 😔

Next on the Castle Lane job train was a nice little job just over the road from our hq. The couple had been recommended myself from a job I had completed at a friend of theirs, so I was really happy that reputation still counts for alot.
As you can see in picture 1,the customer had started to strip the door but for a couple of reasons hadn't completed it, so that's when they called me. He didn't want to replace the door as it was oversized and not standard, the cost would of been higher, so I was tasked with making it look good again.
Stripping all the loose paint off revealed loads of holes, especially at the bottom with a couple of big ones.
Filling the holes and sanding was a long job, but finally the door was in a position where we could paint it. Using the Cuprinol Garden Shade in Willow, and despite the paint still drying in the final shot, I'm sure you'll agree that the finished result is quite the transformation from the beginning.

Next up was a transformation of these decorative plant stalls for her garden. One of them was looking rather worse for wear but, those who know me, know I like a challenge. So a new piece of metal put in to add some structure then filled around it, sanded and then spray painted. One very happy customer, thank you

Lovely little job done a few weeks back. The women wanted a load of little odd jobs done before the winter, first up was the fences.

Next up we did a lovely little job just round the corner from our base, freshening up, touching up and sorting out various little bits for the house to be put up for sale. The owner was lovely and kept us hydrated with many cups of tea and biscuits. It genuinely was a pleasure to work for this lady and to improve her house for the next chapter of her life.

So it's been a while since I posted anything, but here are some jobs we've been working on. First up was a quick and easy job, but it transformed the look of the building, by painting the three render panels, updating the colour to blend in keeping with the rest of the house. Paint used here was a specialist Sandtex Masonary paint, under the colour title of Gravel. Very quick drying (which was needed between dodging the rain clouds) and excellent quality on both first coats and final finishes.

It's been a really busy couple of days here at Castle Lane Decorating, transforming some of the woodwork for the Brewhouse and Kitchen before they reopen on Monday. Thanks for the opportunity guys and hopefully we can work again in the future.
