I've listened to four records tonight. Loveless by MBV (immaculate), Pygmalion by Slowdive (universally panned upon release, but really brave and experimental imo), War by U2 (easily my favourite U2 album. I can never work out if the production is utter sh*te or utter genius) and Stutter by James (wtf?)... What shall I listen to next on this fine summer evening?? ✌️

Sat with the door to my little balcony open, sun on my face, wine in hand and Loveless blasting on the stereo. Things feel pretty good right now, and thank God for that. It's been a rough ride lately. Hope everyone who reads this is doing ok. ✌️

Been doing a lot of wandering recently, and tonight's wander took me down Birkenhead Front. Haven't been down here for ages. There's not much to see apart from Liverpool, but I did see Lily Savage and a massive ship doing some expert reversing, which was nice. ✌️

Big thanks to Chris Thomas for coming up with the cover art for my next 'single', 'Silly Little Boy'. This is a co write with my mate and old song writing partner, Gaz Elliott. I think we've proved that with our powers combined we can be pretty special.
The song itself is currently getting the fairy dust sprinkled on it by producer, and I hope to have it out within the month. Stay tuned. ✌
