🏗️ Project Update | Bristol Tank Installation Complete

A few weeks ago, we shared progress from our latest tank fabrication project destined for Bristol.

We’re pleased to report that the tanks have now been successfully installed on site and are looking fantastic. 👏

From fabrication in our Birkenhead workshop through to final installation, this project showcases the quality, precision and teamwork that goes into every job we deliver.

All work at OWS Engineering includes the successful completion of:
✔ Preliminary Welding Procedure Specifications (pWPS)
✔ Procedure Qualification Records (PQR)
✔ Final Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
✔ Welder qualification and coding

Supporting imagery from macro examinations and testing demonstrates the level of technical validation involved throughout the qualification process.

All work has been carried out to recognised EN and ASME standards, helping ensure compliance, consistency and confidence across every project.

Our latest tanks are officially on the move from our Birkenhead workshop all the way to Bristol, heading off to their new home.

Not your average Thursday delivery… and probably taking up slightly more room than an Amazon parcel. 📦😂

We’re looking for an experienced Welder to work on high-quality stainless steel and carbon steel fabrication projects including tanks, pipework and structural components.

✅ Full-time permanent role
✅ Workshop-based position
✅ From £26 per hour
✅ Technically challenging projects
✅ Supportive professional team

Skills in TIG, MMA and FCAW preferred. Experience working to high standards and NDT requirements desirable.
