smallest sound in town. The Evolution of Damai Sound started from the love of collecting, playing and producing roots reggae and dub.
Damai Sound System was started by Bob Damai with his friend and long time collaborator Salim Dastan aka Mr Upfull. Bob landed on Irish shores in 2005 where he discovered Reggae Soundsystem Culture. It was within reggae dance culture he met Salim, an Irish-Malaysian producer and composer. A collaboration was formed and the might Damai Sound was born. In the mix, bringing the mic to life is our soul

POSTPONED!! This gig will NOT be going ahead on the 21st March as planned. Issues between booker and management within the venue. Such are the frustrations of the gig economy. But the music always finds a way. You can find A massive gig that night with Rubadub HiFi gwan scratch that itch!
