According to Belfast Live there are only 380 Wheelchair accessible taxis across Northern Ireland.

After some very quick research this is what I find.

In England 55% of taxis have a wheelchair accessible taxis.

In Wales they have 1,145.

This needs to change to allow people or are disabled and are in a wheelchair to live there lives

On Monday I met with members of the Police North Belfast to do a walk around the Shankill.

We discussed the number of cars parked on either a pathway or drop kerbs; this makes it harder for wheelchairs and mobility scooters to get somewhere within their community.

We talked about the number of cars parked on ether a pathway drop c
Thanks to members of the Police Service of Northern Ireland and Alternatives Restorative Justice for taking the time to meet and walk/push around with me.

Push4Change were kindly invited by Ballymena United FC to see how accessible the Showgrounds are. I loved how welcome we felt as soon as we came into the ground and how the club is very community-based.

Photo'd below I had the opportunity to meet the goalscorer Aaron Jarvis and Daithi McCallion. They played some great football, but not the result they would have wanted with a draw.

I would like to also add how respectful and helpful the supporters were, which is a credit to the hard work the club has put into the supporters.

I would like to thank Ballymena United FC and Ballymena United's secretary, Phil, for their time.

I received an invitation to the Just Include launch event today at the Starmount Parliament buildings.

This will help disabled people in Northern Ireland understand what an MLA is, along with decision groups for people with disabilities.

This was a great event, and I appreciated the invite.

Today I was at the Shankill United Football Club match.

The wheelchair access is good for the level, and the staff and supporters are top class the football standard is excellent.

They are a very community-based club and are very willing to help with the food, which is also next level.

overall class facilities and people.
