After 14 years, we’ve decided to call it a day for Studio Stereo.
Since 2008 we’ve strived to create brands with meaning, help our clients to do business well and make the world just a little bit less ugly.
Whilst this decision comes with sadness for us both, we feel it’s time for a new season.
And after the global ups and downs of the last few years we feel that this is a natural moment for us both to look to a new future.
But don’t worry, we’re not packing in what we do for a living, we’re just drawing a close to this particular chapter.
’s final working day will be 29th April 2022.
It has been our honour and privilege working with you and serving you over these past 14 years.
To our clients and friends from way back in the early days when Connie & Craig started the business in 2008; thank you for your unwavering faith in two naive young things.
To our clients and friends who supported us through the grief and pain of Craig’s death in 2014...
thank you for your kindness, compassion, and for sticking with us as we figured things out and found a way forward.
And to newer clients and friends...
who entrusted us with the visual communication needs of your growing business amidst a global pandemic, thank you for choosing us as your design team and entrusting us to work with you.
We’ll be back at the end of the month with more details about where you can reach us, until then…peace ✌🏻

Friends of the studio received a liquid labour of love in their Christmas Stockings this year…we always do get a weeeee bit carried away… 😂
We infused (the already exceptional) gin with toasted winter spices, then blended with Campari and Vermouth and added a little dried orange garnish for the perfect Festive Negroni…or should we say Noël-Groni?! (Sorry, we just live for puns 🕺🏻)
Hope everyone who received one enjoyed it, and big thanks to Brendan at for supplying the gin—goodness knows what madness we’ll plan for next year! 😂 We might have peaked! 🥵
Cheers everyone—see you in 2022! 🥃🍊

Two Stacks Irish Whiskey blend the best of contemporary Irish flavour with real distilling heritage.
Smoke & Mirrors is their new unique whiskey, rich in peated malt, a result of collaboration with artisan Irish producers – bringing together the experience and expertise of Ireland’s top brewers & distillers into one high-end premium product.
The packaging theme is continued with their eye-catching water colour designs by studiostereo in Belfast with great effect. The name ‘Smoke & Mirrors’ takes its inspiration from the reflective Smokey stout flavour that flows throughout the liquid and reflecting a label that continues to set a standard for transparency to the consumer.

Well, we wanted to tell you all about how you can now buy these Poitín staves, but they only went and sold out in the first few minutes of release, didn’t they? 🥳🎉😍
Made in collaboration with , , , and , each of the 5 bottles of Killowen’s historic mashbill poitín have been rested in different beer casks for a truly unique spirit. And we thought the outside should really reflect the quality of the inside... 🤩
Featuring an engraved barrel stave and archival photography representing the 5 bygone Cúige (provinces) of Ireland...are they almost too beautiful to drink?! Quite possibly...but sure we could be convinced! 🥃😍

We’ve loved being part of the creation and watching the evolution of this brand...here’s to even more growth in 2019!
Our ! In 2017 we developed an idea to design and create bespoke live edge tables, matched with different colours of steel hairpin legs. The tables are beautiful, so we wanted a raw, contemporary product to style them with, and what could be more raw than concrete? This then led us to develop a range of concrete homewares which incorporates on-trend colours and designs. We never thought a year ago we would be where we are now and without a doubt one of the best decisions in this whole process was going to who came up with the concept of ‘Form Natural Design’. Form fits our range of homewares perfectly as each product we make is totally unique, bespoke and true to Form.

Merry Christmas ya filthy animals…and a Happy New Year.
Our own resident filthy animal, , will be spending Christmas lying in front of a toasty fire and dreaming of whatever Bassett Hounds dream of (most likely edible things).
See you all in 2019!

4 years ago today Craig Hunter, founder of studiostereo, died suddenly and unexpectedly due to a rare undiagnosed inherited cardiac disease called Brugada Syndrome. This day is always a time to reflect on how much we miss him, but also to step back and look at where things are now, knowing that he would be totally loving where things with the studio have gone.
In memory of Craig, we plan to always donate 10% of any profits made from Gymnasium (www.gymnasium.co) to Cardiac Risk in the Young, who do amazing work in research and screening tests for rare cardiac diseases.

This month saw the launch of our online shop www.bygymnasium.co …a side project purely as an excuse for us to make and do things alongside our client work. Sometimes those worlds collide, and we kicked things off with a limited edition range of tea towels in collaboration with our client Table (available to buy for £10, price includes free UK postage and a £1 donation to Cardiac Risk in the Young)
Gymnasium originally started out as an arm for our intended risograph printing experiments, but sadly Stan the Risograph decided to break on us and we still haven’t manage to fix him. Watch this space in the new year for new products, and maybe even the resurrection of Stan…?!

Sometimes, a brand practically names itself...
..with language that’s evocative, unique, and which every parent can identify with!
Ruckus Rugby is a rugby coaching school for primary school aged kids. The brand is lively and attractive for kids but is also a cheeky wink and a nod to the carnage that kids can be (that one’s for the parents!). Big, bold and fun—kids want to join this pack.
