From October 1st, L drivers will be allowed to be taught to drive on a motorway at 70mph by an ADI.
Six months of lesson time must be taken by a learner before they can take a test.
14 modules must taken at least. Also they must be documented and signed off by an instructor .
R plate drivers will be allowed to drive at 70mph on a motorway and display an R plate for two years now.
They will have restrictions on them for passengers at night time.
