We are overjoyed to share some amazing news!
Our Executive Director, Paul Finnegan, has been awarded an OBE for his outstanding contributions to the community and voluntary sector.
For the past five years, Paul has led Lighthouse with heart and vision, tirelessly working to raise awareness around mental health and su***de prevention. His compassion and dedication have touched so many lives, helping people feel seen, supported, and understood during their most difficult moments.
Even before joining Lighthouse, Paul devoted his time and energy to supporting communities in areas like bereavement and autism, always driven by a desire to make a difference.
This incredible honour is a testament to his unwavering commitment to improving lives and building stronger, kinder communities. We couldn’t be prouder to have him at the helm of Lighthouse. 💙
Please join me and the rest of the Lighthouse team in congratulating Paul on this very well deserved recognition! 👏🎉

Devlin Cup 🏆
We’re proud to be part of this year’s Devlin Cup with and – celebrating Jamie, remembering Carrie-Anne, and keeping people connected through the hardest stuff life brings.
Everyone experiences grief. Being able to talk about the great memories, the laughs, and the really tough days matters more than we often realise. With a life lost to su***de every 75 minutes across the UK & Ireland, days like this genuinely make a difference.
You’ll find Lighthouse on the back of the shirts this year – because when it comes to mental health and su***de prevention, we’re here, quietly behind you. We’re on your back, and we’ve got your back.
If you can donate, share the fundraiser, or simply with someone who needs it, thank you.

We had the pleasure of visiting Carrickfergus Grammar School – right in the midst of exams – to meet Mr Baxter and the brilliant pupils in blue from Knockagh House 💙
The students were so polite and genuinely excited to present their cheque to Lighthouse Charity after their fantastic fundraising Colour Run. Their generosity will go directly towards our counselling services for local families and individuals who are struggling with their mental health.
Huge thank you to Mr Baxter, the staff, and all the Knockagh House pupils for shining a light in your community!
