Innovation is crucial when it comes to improving casualty care and new products enter the industry regularly, but not all new developments are as useful as they'd have you believe and in some can actually cause more harm than good..

On a recent course I was asked about anti-choking devices. I hadn't used them before but I always advise candidates to do some research before handing over their hard earned money.

CPR is on the curriculum, so why are so many students missing out? New research shows that nearly 4 in 10 secondary school students say they haven’t received CPR training in school.

To change this, governments and local authorities must follow through on their commitments by offering better support and putting systems in place to track progress.

Every student deserves the chance to become a lifesaver. Help make it happen: https://action.resus.org.uk/cpr-in-schools
