I pushed a really good knife through the top of my left hand middle finger last night whilst cutting an onion. It's an unremarkable injury but I'll be out of action until it heals fully. Fortunately my friends have rallied around me and all my bosses are on board with the cover.

Chris Kelsey was to be my guest at The American Bar this evening - now he's going to do the full show. I'll be doing desk duty so he'll sound awesome. We both agreed to get rid of the cover charge in the interests of getting a full house so now you've no excuse. Please spread the word, Chris is a sensational performer.

Doors at 8.30pm. Come listen to him rock the room and help me lick my wounds. We give this humble gig room back to you....the people. x

Off the back of a really nice short set at Sunflower Folk Club (thank you very much to everyone who came, I'm delighted with the turnout) I'm very happy to announce my next run of gigs.

It has been about a year since my album launch at The American Bar and I feel like touching base with that atmosphere again. We've four dates for you in the coming months and I'll have a friend with me for each of them. Up first is Mr. Niall Carson on the 10th of May - he's worth the ticket price in his own right.
