This week at The Loft, we’re delighted to welcome back Scott Freeman & The Tokyo S*x Whales for what promises to be a memorable evening of original anthemic indie rock music.

Scott is a seasoned singer-songwriter, acoustic guitarist and vocalist. With his backing band, the infamous 'Tokyo S*x Whales', you’ll be treated to powerhouse performances and wonderfully weird word-smithery.

We’re looking forward to hearing a heap of newly released music and to perusing his merch table!

🎶💕 Jonas and Jane at The Loft💕🎶

Brought together by a shared love of Americana Music, it was on a trip to Texas when UK-based Charlie Jonas and Katherine Jane first discovered their mutual passion for Bluegrass music which has moulded them into the harmony driven and bluegrass influenced folk duo they are today.

They’ve since released three records and toured across Texas, Colorado and Arizona as well as the UK. They’ve also played many UK festivals including Cambridge Folk Festival and the main stage at Carfest where they played to over 35,000 people following a live performance of their song "Whispered" on the Chris Evans BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show.

We can't wait to hear Jonas and Jane on Friday. Do please come along (and bring your own ice)!

Our May Loft night treated us to three astonishing performances from three fantastic duos. nora anna with Will Looms, The Gillies and Slack Maverick all played perfect sets. We are so blessed to sit in such a beautiful space and listen to performers of such calibre. Thank you to all our players, and our ever appreciative audience. Last but not least, huge thanks to all on Team Loft who volunteer their time and energies to support live, original music and make our evenings so perfect. 🙏
