Hello,

We are reaching out to local businesses to see if you would be willing to donate a raffle prize for a fundraising event being held by Basingstoke Colts, a local grassroots football club run entirely by volunteers.

The funds raised will help provide essential equipment such as footballs, goals, training gear, and other resources that enable local children to continue enjoying and developing in the sport they love.

Any donation, big or small, would be hugely appreciated. In recognition of your support, we will be delighted to promote and credit your business at the event and across our club communications where possible.

If you are able to help, please get in touch. Thank you for considering supporting grassroots football and the young players in our community.

If any local businesses would also like to run a stall at our event on the 27th June, please do get in touch, the cost will be £10 per table.

CALLING ALL COLTS PARENT'S

With our annual presentation day less than 2 weeks away, we are asking for your help!

We are looking for donations of raffle and tombola prizes, the more, the better. Items in need are as follows:

Bottles- Alcohol, fizzy drinks, squash etc
Unwanted gifts
Toiletries
Sweets/chocolate
Cupboard items such as tinned or dry foods (please ensure these are in date and unopened)
Anything that can be used as a prize 😁

We ideally need these donations as early as possible so we can allocate and number the items. Please message or speak to your coach for drop off.

All proceeds will be going straight back into the club for additional equipment.

What a brilliant, fun-filled weekend of grassroots football we've had here at the Colts!

Congratulations to all of our tournament winners – a fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved. 🏆👏

We'd also like to say a huge thank you to all the neighbouring clubs who joined us and helped make the weekend such a success. It was great to see so many teams enjoying the spirit of the game.

Finally, a massive thank you to everyone who gave up their time to volunteer, referee, organise, and support the event, especially in the hot weather. ☀️

Events like these are only possible because of the dedication and hard work of our volunteers. They also help us raise vital funds to keep our club running while keeping fees as low as possible for families, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to enjoy football.

Recent north hants cup winners looking for new players to join under 11's in september.

Finishing joint top of division 2, so depending the outcome of Saturdays play off, the team may be joining division 1 next season.

As we head into the season's finale, I want to sincerely thank you for being part of the Colts community.

Our annual tournament is fast approaching, and to make it even better than last year, we need your energy! Whether you can spare an hour or a day, your support as a volunteer is what makes this weekend possible for the players.

To ensure a smooth transition to the 2026/27 season, please complete the following by the end of the month:
• Staying with us? Please update your contact details and refresh your child’s photo in the system to assist with player registration. (Note: No payments will be taken until September).
• Moving on? If you intend to leave the club, please submit your leave request via the system so we can finalize our numbers.

We are also excited to announce the return of the Members Draw! This is a fantastic way to reinvest in our facilities while giving you a chance to win some cash.

⚽️ Basingstoke Colts couldn’t be prouder of our brand new U9 girls team today! ⚽️

In their very first tournament, the girls battled their way through to a Plate Final — and won it! 🏆

Today was a hugely beneficial experience and marks the first step on the ladder for this fantastic group of players. Their teamwork, determination, and smiles said it all 💪💙

We’re still looking for additional players to join the squad.
