English local elections postponed over coronavirus Local and mayoral elections will be held in May next year due to the spread of the virus.

We oppose Vivid Housing's plans to build flats and houses on Fort Hill Winklebury is already getting 3,500 houses built to the west, any more houses will add to the already-expected congestion. The plans show 3-storey flats which is an overdevelopment not in keeping with the area. The Iron Age fort is a national treasure and should be treated with respect.

I have lived in Winklebury for 37 years. I want to speak up as a local voice, working with Cllr Angie Freeman. Together we would be such a strong team for Winklebury; living as we do in our community. We know the issues we all face because we live them with you. I want to represent the community I grew up in, the place I’m raising my children, the neighbours and residents that have given me so much over the years. Winklebury is my home and we deserve councillors who understand our community.
