🌿 is on until 14 June

Enjoy a fantastic programme of free activities and events celebrating local action to protect nature and tackle climate change across the borough.

If you’re a small independent business, why not get involved? You could run a staff activity, offer a Green Week deal, host something simple in-store or online, or share a small sustainable change you’re proud of 💚

Getting involved and sharing your activity on social media is a great way to be part of the wider Green Week conversation and show your support for our local community and environment.

Safe we are planning to install some planters at the front of our premises as part of their contribution to Green week. In addition to brightening up the building in Wi******er street they will provide our clients with a nice opportunity for some outdoor activity.
Nature Basingstoke, recent winners of Place to be Proud Award are always looking for help
And it’s not just for businesses – everyone is welcome to take part in the free events happening throughout the week!

Thinking about being greener?

🌱 Want to make your garden better for wildlife but not sure where to start?

Our Green Team can help you to make your outdoor space more wildlife friendly through their garden wildlife surveys that are designed to give you practical, personalised ideas you can try at home – whether that’s simple changes for birds and pollinators or ways to make the most of the space you’ve got.

You can meet the Green Team in Basingstoke town centre tomorrow (Saturday 6 June) at The Malls, where they’ll be from 9am to 5.30pm at a green market that’s helping to kick off the first day of Basingstoke Green Week – a yearly celebration of local climate and nature action.

Our advisors will be sharing free advice on supporting nature in your garden and booking free home visits, so you can get tailored tips that work for you.

Small changes in your garden can make a big difference for nature – so come and have a chat.
