🦔 A bit of good news for a change…

The world can feel full of bad news sometimes, so here’s a little story that made our day.

While carrying out a job, we spotted something moving at the bottom of a drain. Looking a little closer, we realised it was a hedgehog that had become trapped. There was no way it could climb back out, and without help it almost certainly wouldn’t have survived.

After clearing the drain and carefully working together, we managed to rescue this little fella, who was soon on his way to carry on doing important hedgehog things! 🦔💚

At Proclean Direct, we take pride in looking after properties, but we also believe in looking after the wildlife that shares them. Every little act of kindness matters.

Hedgehog numbers have sadly declined over the years, so if you can, leave a shallow dish of fresh water in your garden during hot weather and make sure drains, pits and deep holes have a way for wildlife to escape.
