We're heartbroken to share that until we raise urgently needed funds, we cannot take in any more guinea pigs or rabbits.

As you can see from the receipts below, our vet bills and supplies have cost us a staggering £1,748.96 in less than a month—and that doesn't even include fresh vegetables, electricity, or water. This has left us with under £300 in the bank.

Until we can raise more funds, we must prioritise the welfare of all the animals currently in our care.

With Fathers Day fast approaching, this is all we now have left in stock for the big day.
We can post, deliver if local or you can collect from the rescue.
And remember all proceeds go towards the care of the animals within the rescue.

We are pleased to announce that we now offer Microchipping services for your beloved pets. This includes Guinea Pigs, Rabbits, Cats and Dogs.

As a DEFRA-certified provider, we follow all UK pet microchipping regulations to ensure your animal is safely identified and legally compliant. Using the latest microchipping technology, each pet receives a unique identification number registered on a national database, along with a physical ID card for your records.

Our convenient mobile service allows us to carry out the procedure in the comfort of your own home, helping to reduce stress for both you and your pet while ensuring full compliance with current legislation.

We also offer discounted rates for breeders and owners requiring multiple animals to be microchipped. Our prices are £12.50 for one animal or £10 per animal for two or more.

Please note that for mobile home visits, a travel charge of 45p per mile applies from our base in Basingstoke.

Every penny raised goes directly towards the care and welfare of the rabbits and guinea pigs at Keki's Guinea Pig & Rabbit Rescue CIC, helping us continue our rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming work.

🚨 URGENT APPEAL FOR HELP 🚨

Our rescue is facing yet another financial crisis, and we desperately need your support.

Over the last few weeks, we have taken in a large number of rabbits and guinea pigs who all required veterinary treatment. This includes several baby rabbits who needed their vaccinations to give them the best start in life.

In just the past 2 weeks alone, we have paid out a staggering **£1,251.21 in veterinary bills**, leaving our rescue struggling once again to cover essential costs.

Sadly, our worries don't end there. Ebb & Flo, two rabbits who came into our care a few months ago, are due back at the vets. We have been treating them for suspected E. Cuniculi (EC), but Ebb's condition appears to have deteriorated. It now looks increasingly likely that five rabbits will remain in our care permanently, with three requiring ongoing treatment and monitoring.

On top of this, we need to find a further **£1,380** to neuter and spay the newest rabbits in our care.

We are attending as many fundraising events as possible, but despite our best efforts, we simply cannot raise enough to keep up with the growing costs.

As a not-for-profit rescue, we rely entirely on the kindness and generosity of our supporters. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a real difference and goes directly towards helping the animals who depend on us.

🚨 URGENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED 🚨

Do you love rabbits and guinea pigs? Could you spare a few hours a week to help animals in need?

🐰🐹 Keki's Guinea Pig & Rabbit Rescue CIC in Black Dam, Basingstoke is urgently looking for On-Site Volunteers to join our small but dedicated team.

As a volunteer, you'll help with:
✨ Daily care of our rescue animals
✨ Health checks and welfare monitoring
✨ Cleaning and maintaining enclosures
✨ Supporting the day-to-day running of the rescue

No previous rescue experience is required – full training will be provided. All we ask is that you're reliable, compassionate, and over 18 years old.

📍 Location: Black Dam, Basingstoke
🕙 Volunteer hours: 10am–2pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays

Every volunteer makes a huge difference. Without support from people like you, we simply couldn't continue helping vulnerable rabbits and guinea pigs find their forever homes.
