📍 Milestones Museum - RG22 6PG

This one is a 8 min drive door to door so it would be silly not to check it out again!

This unit takes you in an immersive experience from the victorian and mid 1900's from vehicles, buildings, experiences & even the staff members around the venue.

For the kids you have a Teddy bear trail to keep them entertained and allow them to explore every inch of the museum, you can also purchase a ration book which allows you to pick some nostalgia sweets from the sweet shop hidden within the museum.

They also have an arcade area with penny machines amongst many other nostalgic and vintage games from over the years.

Find ample opportunities to learn and immersive yourself in the history off all aspects from how the shops worked, equipment and utensils, transportation, evolution and costs of things back then till now. (You can even stop in the pub on the cobbled streets for an ale)

Finally they have a cafe, personally I feel its a little overpriced in some areas and the food is...okay but it could do with some improvements.

Adult tickets are £18.50, Child tickets are £13.00, under 5's go free. Your ticket also gives you return visit for 12 months.

📍 Birdworld Surrey - GU10 4LD

Despite being 25 mins down to road from us we haven't really been here before.

The site is approximately 26 acres in size and houses around 1000 different birds and animals meaning their is lots to see and explore.

Some of the main attractions we enjoyed were:

• The owl parliament - this exhibit displays many different species and popular owls.
• Penguin Beach - you are immersed into the habitat of the African pengiuns and some of their friends roaming around the enclosure.
• Jenny Wren Farm - this sections is essential a petting zoo and also an opportunity to see many domestic animals. (This is best for the summer as many animals didn't make an appearance) they also had a play park catered for kids between 3-6 Years in this area.

Several attractions/areas also were closed due to refurbishment or weather so while we spent a good 4 hours we didnt get the full experience of some areas.

The also have daily talks and feeding sessions and you will be able to find signs around the site with times for these sessions.

The gift shop was well stocked and had alot of variety from pocket money items to more expensive items. They also have a cafe and kiosks around the park but most of the kiosk had closed signs on them and we took a picnic so didn't stop in the cafe.

Adult tickets are £15.96, child tickets are £12.76 and under 3 go free. (These are online prices, on the day tickets are more expensive)

📍 Cadbury World - B30 1JR

The perfect self guided tour experience for chocolate lovers! You can delve into the history of Cadbury's aswell has have first hand experience on the making and creation of the chocolate.

Several walk through interactive areas, tasting experiences and hands on opportunities to play around with the chocolate.

And if that's not enough you get to experience the historical and slightly terryfing Cadabra ride while you cruise along on a beanmobile and see the historical chuckle beans. *this attraction however is sadly closing for good this year after 27 years*

And if all you have experience so far isn't enough you end your experience in the Cadbury world shop where you will find exclusive chocolate makes and chocolate so cheap you will end up in a sugar trance!

Your ticket also gains you access to the 4d Theatre experience where you experience a cute little story with all the popular Cadbury characters and as you exit you can experience the interactive stations to experience how some of our favourite chocolate is manufactured.

And finally if all that isn't enough you can also explore the Gills c***s collection which features over 2000 memorabilia items throughout the history of Cadbury's.

(Cadbury's world also has a cafe and afternoon tea experience but we did not try these so cannot make a comment on these)

Adult tickets start from £21.00, Child tickets start from £15.50 and under 2's go free, you can always find deals and discounts so keep an eye out.

📍Bluereef Aquarium Portsmouth - PO5 3PB

We decided to check out this Aquarium instead of the sealife centre.

It was a very relaxed environment and feeling with the overall experience.

You can find over 40 vibrant and colourful aquatic displays across the experience that allows you to get up and personal and learn about the animals, habitats and feeding habits.

You can find talks and feeding sessions on the hour every hour that allows you to be up and personal, learn about the animals and ask questions to the aquarist (we learnt that word today)

There is the option of Deep Blue Fish & Chips takeaway or the driftwood kitchen sit in cafe as food options for lunch, or you can take a picnic and sit on the seafront.

Your ticket also allows you to return anytime during the day so if you can come and go as you please without stress.

Finally they did have a gift shop...but personally we found it a bit lacking and dissapointing it had very little variety and options.

Adult tickets are £14.35, Child tickets are £11.10, 3 and under go free. You can also get a family ticket of 2 adults and upto 3 children for £48.90
