Halfway through a sermon, the preacher turns to a passage and you want to see it for yourself – but opening your Bible means losing the video.
On Prayer Circle, sermons and videos keep playing in a small floating window while you move around the app. You can turn to the passage, read the verses either side of it, sit with them a moment, and the teaching carries on.
It's a small thing, but it changes how much of a sermon actually stays with you. Hearing and reading together, the way the early church did when letters were read aloud.

"Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working." – James 5:16 (ESV)
Honesty comes first here. Not the tidy version we offer when someone asks how we're doing, but the real thing, told to someone who will carry it to God with us.
That's harder than praying alone, and it's also where healing starts. Maybe today there's one person you could tell the truth to, and one burden you could pray over together.

Small answers to prayer often go unmentioned. The job interview that went well, the verse that landed at exactly the right moment, the friend who rang when you needed it – they pass by unspoken, and we forget how faithful God has been.
Stories on Prayer Circle give those moments somewhere to go. Share a photo, a video, a verse, or your own words on a coloured or photo background. Choose whether it stays up for one, three or seven days.
Verse of the Day stories are tagged, so friends can find what you've been reading and read along with you.

Three short instructions, and every one of them takes a lifetime to learn.
"Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer." – Romans 12:12 (ESV)
Notice they hold together. Hope is what makes patience possible, and prayer is what keeps hope from drying up when the trouble drags on longer than we expected.
If you're in a season of waiting today, you don't have to be constant in prayer on your own. Bring it to someone – a friend, a group, your church – and let them carry it with you.

Cookiy shared a prayer on Prayer Circle called "Death And Life", and it's one worth sitting with.
It begins with thanks for a new day, then turns to something we don't often think to pray about – the words we speak. "I want to be intentional and purposeful when I speak."
Most of us say a hundred things before breakfast without weighing any of them. What a gift to ask God to guard our speech before the day gets going.
Will you pray it along with Cookiy today? On Prayer Circle we carry each other's prayers, praying for one another as we go.

"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." – Lamentations 3:22-23 (ESV)
Jeremiah wrote these words while grieving a ruined city. Even there, he could see that God's mercy hadn't run dry.
Whatever yesterday held, today's mercy is fresh. It hasn't been used up by your worry or your failures.
Take a moment to pray through this one. Thank God for the mercy that met you this morning, and ask him for what you need today. If someone comes to mind, pray for them too.

Questions about Scripture rarely arrive at convenient times. They come late at night, or halfway through a passage you thought you understood, or on a train with no signal.
The Helper in Prayer Circle is there for those moments. Ask it a question about the Bible and it will answer, then point you to the passages it drew on, so you can go and read them for yourself.
It runs on your phone itself, so your questions aren't sent off to a server. Once it's downloaded, it works offline too.
Curiosity about God's word is worth following wherever it finds you.

Some mornings you wake up still carrying yesterday's failures. This verse speaks right into that.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." – 2 Corinthians 5:17 (ESV)
Notice it doesn't say the old will pass away once you've tidied yourself up. It says it has passed away. That's already done, in Christ.
So take a moment today and pray honestly about whatever you're still dragging behind you. Hand it over. Then thank God that he sees you as new, even on the days you don't feel it.

Scripture sticks better when we're laughing about it together. There's something about a bit of friendly competition that gets a story out of the page and into the room – and into the conversation afterwards.
That's the idea behind Bible Trivia on Prayer Circle. You can play on your own for a quiet ten minutes, or turn it into a party game: the questions show on the TV and everyone buzzes in on their own phone.
There's a leaderboard, too, which tends to bring out the competitive side in the gentlest of church groups.
Good for youth nights, small groups or a family evening in.

Today's verse: "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." – Psalm 46:1 (ESV)
Notice the word "present". Not distant, not waiting for you to sort yourself out first, but near – right in the middle of the thing that's weighing on you this morning.
Whatever trouble you're carrying today, bring it to him honestly. You don't need the right words. And if there's someone on your mind who is struggling, pray this verse over them too, then tell them you did.
