MiniChefs Club
MiniChefs is an after school cooking club for children aged from 6 years old based in Langdon Hills. I’m Michelle, a Mum to twin girls, Ava & Amelia.
You can also order a monthly baking kit to be delivered to you or someone as a gift. MiniChefs Club is an after school cooking club based from my home in Langdon Hills for all children from 5 years old. I have a passion for all things in the kitchen and spend a lot of time cooking with my girls. I want to give children the opportunity to learn about food & nutrition in an educational and fun way.

Hi Everyone!
I hope you all are well - I’m a little behind on my admin, so apologies to those who have asked questions about Easter, but the workshops are now out of my head and onto the website!
They go live at 6pm on Friday 13th March - we are having some garden renovations carried out during the holidays so I am only working the first week of the two week break, the second week there will not be any access to MiniChefs Club through the garden 😬

Today is National Yorkshire Pudding day - who is a fan?
It was always my favourite part of the Sunday roast as a child and now one of my Twinnies is exactly the same!
There are always many recipes to create these - here’s mine:-
Using a measuring jug, cracks 3 eggs and remember the ml.
👩🍳 Pour the eggs into a mixing bowl
👩🍳 Using the same ml as the eggs, measure plain flour and then milk and add to the mixing bowl
👩🍳 Whisk the batter until there are no lumps and leave in the fridge until needed (overnight is even better)
👩🍳 Set the oven temp to 240c, add a little oil to your Yorkshire pan and place into the oven until sizzling
👩🍳 Pour in your batter and cook for 20 mins and well risen
How do you make yours?

Hi Everyone!
HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you all have had a brilliant Christmas and everyone is happy to be back to school and some routine (personally I’m missing all the cheese!!)
It’s been a crazy first week back but I have been working on the first set of workshops for 2026.
I’m going to go live with them on the website at 6pm on Friday 9th Jan.
There will be some of the regular Saturday morning workshops, but also some workshops during February half term. These will be a mixture of 2.5 hours and the full cooking day from 10-4pm
Set your alarms if you want to book on, there are 6 MiniChefs per workshop and spaces always go quickly!
If you have any vouchers that you would like to use please pop me a message with your voucher numbers so I can pull all of your info out (I’m working on getting the website changed so that at the point of booking you can enter your voucher number but I haven’t managed to get that completed in this time frame).

Calling all teens!
In my 10 years of running MiniChefs Club I have picked up some experience in the benefits of spending time in the kitchen.
👩🍳Independence & Real-Life Skills
Cooking means teens don’t have to rely on take-always or others. They learn how to take care of themselves — a huge win for adulthood.
👩🍳 Confidence That Carries Over
Nailing a recipe = instant confidence. That confidence spills into school, social life, and trying new things.
👩🍳Better Choices, Better Health
When teens know how food works, they make smarter choices, understand nutrition, and feel more in control of what they eat.
👩🍳 Creativity Without Screens
Cooking is hands-on, expressive, and fun. It’s one of the few creative activities that doesn’t involve staring at a screen — and you get to eat the result
👩🍳 Teamwork & Social Skills
Cooking together builds communication, patience, and collaboration. It’s social without being awkward.
👩🍳 Career & Passion Discovery
Some teens discover a real passion — whether it’s becoming a chef, food creator, entrepreneur, or just being the friend who cooks.
👩🍳 Bonus: It’s Cool
Let’s be real — being able to cook is a flex! Friends notice. Parents appreciate it. Future roommates will thank them!
I have some space to join our Wednesday gang, we start at 7pm and finish at 8.15pm and each week we alternate between a sweet and savoury dish.
The cost is £60 per month which includes, aprons, all ingredients and take home boxes.
We start back on 7th Jan - message me to secure your space!
