What a wonderful turnout with huge amount of vibrant questions, engaged interactions and collaborative thinking. This is how real change happens!

We had a great day supporting latest Location Marshall Bootcamp for local residents this week.

We were able to offer some hand on demonstrations of locations kit, including some cool monitoring tech for our solar chargers… which is why it looks like we’re staring at our phones! 💚

It always feels good to give back to the community and hopefully we’ve helped to inspire some new careers ☺️

We’ve recently partnered with the wonderful .savingsolutions and are thrilled to welcome several new 30kVA/45kWh Hussh Pod Batteries into our fleet💡

These new additions are already in action across various projects—whether it’s hybridising tech and craft setups, powering prep and strike, or even providing silent power on set, we’ve got it covered.

Having a diverse range of BESS solutions alongside our existing generators allows us to deliver tailored power solutions for every unique production. 🌱

These new batteries support our ongoing commitment to sustainability, helping productions reduce their reliance on liquid fuels and move closer to zero-emission goals. 💚

We’re thrilled to announce that Location One and Great Point Studios Cardiff are now in partnership! This means that any productions based out of Great Point Studios can now benefit from a preferential hire rate on all our kit, both in studio and on location. Having a base at Great Point Studios also means we’ll be on hand for superior servicing and super speedy deliveries. It’s a match made in Welsh heaven!

What’s that? Crispin’s left Location One?! Well… that sounds big!
And it is — in that we’ll miss his unrivalled energy and charm on the daily. But also not, because the amazing team that Crispin & Carly so carefully built are all still here. The culture and HEART values they embedded continue to define who we are, and it’s very much business as usual.

After 17 years of building an incredible business, Crispin is now fulfilling a long-held plan: passing the reins to his trusted team while he heads off to enjoy some new adventures 🚀

To quote Crispin’s leaving song (yes, there was a song — and yes, it was epic):
“Well now this place is shipshape, my work here friends is done.”

That said, both Crispin & Carly will always be a huge part of the Location One family — and don’t be surprised if you see Crispin jumping in a truck to cover a delivery by next week 😉

Location One have been regulars at FOCUS over the years, but this was our first show as a group with our fabulous colleagues at and It was a delight to be together and showcase our many combined solutions and synergies for all our clients production needs.
