Ian Duncan Racing

The wanderer returns! Niamh left us to go to college last month but she came in to help out today, sprained wrist and all! Here she is on Pony Express one of her favourites. The first batch to come in are all getting pretty fit and will be heading for galloping after racing in the next few weeks and first runners mid October 🏇🏇🏇

Due to repeated no shows and general delusion about the level of ability and fitness needed to ride racehorses Greta has been enlisted to ride the quiet ones. If you want to end child slavery and think you can do a better job email [email protected]

Casting a wider net here:
EXPERIENCED riders and yard staff needed.
Prefer them not to stay on site but a dodgy caravan is available for those desperate enough.
Experience and ability to show up essential, you can't work remotely or jenny and I would be supervising from a beach in barbados.
Sanity, cleanliness, ability to drive optional. Plus side for insane and unclean candidates is that the wife wont ask you to watch the children. Downside is she wont feed you. Apart from maybe scraps thrown out the window.

We're hiring!

Now that some of the young crew are heading off to college we are looking for riders. Preferably full time but depends on candidate. Space for a horse, no accommodation. Must be capable riders as this filly and 6 others have just started their ridden education!

We also need yard staff, part time or full time. Must be able to work as part of a team and on their own and able to work at a good pace to high standards.

We’re hiring!

With the horses due to come in from their summer holidays mid July we are looking for experienced riders to join our team with both full and part time roles available. Opportunity for right candidate to bring their own horse.

Previous experience riding racehorses or fit competition horses is a MUST as well as a willingness to muck in with other yard jobs, sheep, cow and children herding.

No pony patters or day dreamers.

Sticky toffee pudding tonight! Well done to Tread Softly Now and Ryan Mania winning for Stephen Sinclair and well done to Shiwon Green for leading up her first winner!

Looking for a new 🏰

Walking proof that if they don't want to do it you can't make them! By a top stallion and out of a multiple winning mare, he doesn't know we had great expectations of him! Adveram is ready to hang up his racing saddle and try out a new career.

7yo gelding about 16.1hh. Born here, full history known (open to vetting as BELIEVE ME we looked for every excuse) and looking for a confident and competent rider. PM for more but messages with price hen or comments to pm will be ignored. Ideally contact the page by whatsapp tomorrow for more info. Proper ad to come in the next week or so when we get some photos of him doing other things.
