Light Up Axminster

Wow Light up Axminster are excited to assist with this event and very grateful to be one of its nominated beneficiaries. Looks like you need to get those vehicle entries in sooner rather than later though!

2025 saw such generous support we decided to release our annual newsletter early. We are a small team of volunteers who are proud to deliver a bit of Christmas cheer to Axminster. We aim to do what we can to expand our lights and add more lighting displays. Have a read of the Newsletter to learn about our challenges, achievements and future plans!

Railway Kitchen - Axminster a big shout out to you for hosting a quiz for light up Axminster and all the lovely quizzers who turned up it was awesome we can't wait for the next one on Friday April 17th

We invite anyone who would like to be involved with Lightning up Axminster each year to an open meeting Thursday 29th January at the Red Lion at 7pm. We look forward to seeing you.

The weather may be challenging us and the towns Christians lights . BUT a big thanks to all our team who are constantly in the background out and about fixing lights, electrics and day to day maintenance all times of the day and night! AND Thank you to the super folks in Axminster it is heartwarming when you come up and thank us. It was lovely when we were fixing lights over a house in town and the lady opened her door and said "thank you for giving me Christmas lights over my house I love them" we do too and this is what makes it all worthwhile.
