There’s high demand for our 10 most wanted titles, and many eager customers are waiting to borrow them. We’ve purchased as many copies as our budget allows, but if you’re able to help, we’d be truly grateful.

If you have a pristine copy, you’ve finished reading - whether it’s one you bought yourself or received as a gift - you can donate it at any library in Devon or Torbay. We’ll add it to our collection to help reduce the waiting list.

Axminster Library is closed from today while we install OpenPlus, an exciting new system that will enable extended opening hours in the near future.

The library will reopen on Saturday 8th August.

We are already in the middle of Bicycle Week! 🚴🚴‍♀

Inspired by the Tour De France, we have bike-themed crafts, a quiz and a challenge! Come to the Library to have a go 😁

Axminster Library will be closed from Monday 3rd August and reopen on Saturday 8th August.

We have a new display where you can purchase beautiful handmade cards by a local artist! 🖼🎨

20% of the money raised will go directly to the library.

The display will be refreshed regularly so if you are looking for something unique and thoughtful, come and have a look!
