Well folks as the year draws to an end I just want to say a huge Thank you to all my customers for your continued support of Compass Motorcycles! It is greatly appreciated. I hope you all have a great Christmas and a safe new years! Look forward to seeing you in the new year!

We had a new member of the team 'boris' join us today at Compass. He's a bit camera shy, so when i can pin him down I'll post a pic of him..

So.... introducing 'Boris brush', let's hope he works as hard as our last one lol !!

I've done a fair few Chain and Sprockets replacements in my time here and seen a thing or two, but this was a new one... upon cleaning the front sprocket cover amongst the grease & dirt, was 8-10 chain o'rings! Not the norm..
Still all put right, and left with a clean new set fitted.

A real rarity hit the test bay recently... a Husqvarna Svartpilen 401!... Something you don't see everyday at Axminster's premier Motorcycle M.o.t station..

On this day 14 years ago Compass Motorcycles went live as Axminster's Premier Motorcycle M.o.t test station! Where has the time gone.. it's been quite the ride! Big thank you to all who have supported us over the years...
It's certainly been busy lately, here are some of the interesting bikes that have come through the doors in the last few weeks....
(The Honda CB400ss's were certainly a rare sight, but two on the same was something else.... and both local too, to the surprise of both owners!)

CB siblings! Recently in at Compass Honda little brother & big brother, in the form of CB 125r + CB1000r. 125r in for suspension lower kit, and the 1000r in for it's annual M.o.t.

As the season gets nearer, remember Compass for your next M.o.t & tweeks!

Wow, I can't quite believe where the time has done?... surely we're not about to tip into November already!? Just goes to show how busy things here have been that it's gone that quickly..

Another job ticked off... Fork seals on a Kawasaki ER6.. Thankfully not as messy as the last set of seals I did that ended up getting smelly old fork oil over the work trousers and hoodie I had on, and despite two washes still stank & ended up in the bin!

Summer....blink and you miss it lol. As we tip into Autumn I've been visited by a certain Yamaha XJR today. This being the very first bike I tested after I opened the workshop some 13 years ago! Quite a few test's later, and still it passes!
