It’s chilled, welcoming, spacious, and the WiFi is excellent. It’s also much more productive than a kitchen table or your sofa 🫣 or it makes a nice change from your home based office.
Available from 8.30am-5pm, Monday to Friday from only £15 per day.
There’s also the option to grab coffees and lunch from our Bubble cafe just across the corridor.

WE ARE HIRING: CATERING SUPERVISOR (30 hours per week)
Minerva Mill Innovation Centre, a distinctive business centre in the heart of the market town of Alcester, is looking for a motivated and reliable individual to manage The Bubble, our on-site business café.
The café operates from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. This role is offered on a 30-hour-per-week basis, worked flexibly across a rota. There may also be opportunities for additional hours to support events, annual leave cover, or staff absence.
As part of a dedicated team, you will play an important role in creating a warm, professional, and welcoming environment for our tenants and visitors, while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the café.
Essential Experience
• Previous experience working in a café, restaurant, or catering environment
• Experience in a supervisory or team leader role
• Hands-on involvement in day-to-day operations, including service, cash handling, and stock control
• Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
Skills and Competencies
• Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and professional approach
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support a small team
• Good organisational and time management abilities
• Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
• Clear communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Knowledge and Compliance
• Good understanding of food hygiene and food safety standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene minimum; Level 3 desirable)
• Awareness of health and safety requirements, including allergen management
Personal Attributes
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible in approach to working hours
• Hands-on and willing to support all aspects of the operation
• High standards of cleanliness, presentation, and attention to detail
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• A team player who contributes to a welcoming and professional environment
Desirable (but not essential)
• Barista training or experience
• Experience supporting corporate or private events
• Basic administrative or reporting skills
