MSN, The Telegraph and radio station LBC have reported today that the public should consider hoarding cash in case of blackouts, emphasising how MPs have called on Downing Street to highlight “the value of physical cash in emergency preparedness” and stating that the Commons treasury committee issued the warning following massive blackouts in Spain and Portugal, which left millions unable to pay with their bank cards.

We will be changing our Thursday late opening to 6:30pm from today

Thank you to all who attended Alan's funeral yesterday. We were overwhelmed by the amount of people who came along to pay their respects and share stories of happier times. We are incredibly grateful for your warmth and support over the last few months.

Also the collection for the RNLI on the day came to £550.00 so also a huge thank you for your generosity in supporting them on Alan's behalf.

The Shop will be closed on Tuesday 27th February for the funeral. Please call on Wednesday or send emails as required.

To Family and Friends attending the funeral, the family would appreciate it if bright colours are worn in order to commemorate the fun loving man we all remember.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alan Jones, who passed away peacefully on Saturday 3rd February 2024. Beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather.

Family & friends are invited to attend the funeral service on 27th February 2024 at 12.30pm at Redditch Crematorium followed by a get together afterwards at The King’s Court Hotel in Kings Coughton.

We will be open as normal up until Friday the 22nd of December, and then we will be closed over the Christmas period until January the 2nd when we will be in at 9:00 a.m.

Happy new year to all. We are back to normal opening hours from tomorrow.

We will be open on 23rd December and then taking a well deserved break until Tuesday 3rd January.
